Once upon a time there was a band called Colonel Anderson’s Delta Force. This band was formed by a group of coworkers at Roland Corp in 1990, when they all entered the company. Over the years members came and went until in 2003, when the band was made up of Morich on Drums, Masa on Bass, shunt on piano and keys and Wacky, the last original member, was playing guitar, their vocalist left, and I was invited to audition. It went well, I got the gig, but most of the songs they were playing were for a female vocalist, and I felt a little weird about singing “Third Time Lucky” - a fun song to sing, but I’m a guy…
So we decided to cover some of the songs I wrote with GLU and LifeUnderwater. Once we got into that groove, we decided to switch from covers to originals (I was very happy with this decision) and we DIYed our first CD “Pops” in 2005. Our second CD “Cést La Vie” contained 8 new original tracks and 2 GLU covers, was recorded in proper studios, mixed by a pro and mastered by another pro, and naturally sounds like it. This, our final release, was professionally pressed and packaged and released in 2009.  Wacky left the band not long after, then shunt became a road biker, and the band faded away…
